Polk Audio sound bar switching input to TV automatically

Why is my Polk Audio sound bar switching input automatically back to TV approximately a minute after I’ve selected a different source?
This would normally happen when a feature on the TV called "CEC" is enabled (Normally disabled by default). This allows for the TV sound to be output to the bar over HDMI (ARC). The TV thinks that because CEC has been turned on, that you MUST want to hear the TV audio, so it sends a signal controlling the Command Bar and forcing it to switch inputs. The TV does this, not the sound bar.

The best solution is to go into your TV's settings and disable the CEC controls. Every TV manufacturer calls CEC something difference; for instance, Sharp calls it “Aquos Link”, while Samsung calls it “Anynet+”.
